$45.00 - $63.00 per hour Engineer the Technology Behind Modern Flight As an Electronic Design Engineer , you'll play a critical role in the development, testing, certification, and enhancement of electronic systems used in advanced aircraft. From designing printed circuit boards and programmable logic devices to validating system performance and supporting certification efforts, your work will help deliver innovative aerospace solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and safety. What You'll Do As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will: Assist in the development, design, testing, and certification of new and modified printed circuit board (PCB) modules for aircraft systems Design and analyze analog and digital electronic circuits for aerospace applications Model and simulate electronic circuits using SPICE software tools Create and maintain PCB layouts utilizing Altium Designer software Troubleshoot and test avionics and electrical modules using a variety of electronic test equipment Develop, modify, and maintain programmable logic designs utilizing FPGAs and CPLDs Program and support embedded systems using the C programming language Prepare engineering certification reports and documentation to demonstrate regulatory compliance Develop functional test procedures and verification documentation for electronic assemblies Support product development activities from concept through testing and certification Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline with relevant experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or a closely related field Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design Experience with electronic testing, troubleshooting, and analysis Knowledge of PCB design and layout methodologies Experience using SPICE-based simulation tools Proficiency with the C programming language Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with FPGA design and development Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL programming languages Familiarity with embedded processor and control system design Experience using Altium Designer for PCB development Knowledge of aerospace and avionics standards, including:DO-254 DO-160 MIL-STD-810 MIL-STD-704 MIL-STD-461
