Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Power Supply Engineer to design and develop compact power electronics solutions supporting advanced military SATCOM systems.

This role focuses on board-level power conversion, isolated power supply design, power conditioning, EMI mitigation, and custom power architectures used within highly reliable communications equipment. The engineer will own power supply designs from concept through validation and work closely with systems, RF, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

The successful candidate will have experience designing compact electronic hardware and developing isolated power conversion solutions for demanding environments where size, performance, reliability, and EMI compliance are critical.

Design isolated power suppliesDesign power conversion architecturesDevelop DC-DC converter solutionsDesign and optimize control loopsDesign flyback, forward, buck, and similar converter topologiesDevelop custom magneticsCreate electrical schematicsPerform power integrity analysisAddress EMI/EMC challengesConduct hardware testing and troubleshootingUtilize oscilloscopes and waveform generatorsSupport product integration and qualification testingCollaborate with firmware, RF, systems, and mechanical engineering teamsMentor junior engineers Skills and Requirements BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
