Explore new business models and applications for energy storage, including storage as a transmission asset and other energy market applications. Develop and implement first-of- their-kind projects. Lead identification, development, negotiation, and execution of opportunities to secure new projects for Tesla's renewable energy self-development strategy. Develop market strategies for utility-scale battery storage in the US and abroad, assessing competitive landscape, regulatory environment, pricing strategy, and risk management. Understand emerging industry trends and educate the rest of the company strategy, offers, and products accordingly. Lead cross-functional, cross-regional initiatives to align on organizational strategy and present results to leadership. Develop and on outreach strategies with major market players, potential customers, and potential partners in support of the team's many initiatives. U.S. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of electricity industry experience. Must have 2 years of experience in finance modeling for utility-scale battery energy storage development;
• Must have 2 years of experience in project finance in the Latin America region;
• Must have 2 years of experience in complex energy finance modeling, including tax and energy revenue (merchant & contracted) analysis;
• Must have 2 years of experience in energy project level diligence and negotiations for Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) in Latin America;
• Must have 2yrs of experience in securing power purchase agreements and capacity contracts with US companies including utilities and datacenters using battery energy storage projects;
• Must have 2 years of experience in US energy markets, financial modeling, and energy revenues, for utility-scale battery energy storage projects; and

Must have 1 year of experience in leading engagement with US banks and insurers to navigate complex tax credit rules for battery energy storage projects. Must have experience in technical and contractual Spanish language reading, writing, and verbal communications. Domestic travel required up to 10% to visit Tesla headquarters for team meetings or other project-related work at other Tesla facilities.
