The Role Under supervision, provides Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to support heat tracing projects, R D verification, product development, field troubleshooting, technical publications, and sales efforts. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Responsible for providing engineering support to Thermon subsidiaries and clients. Provides design analysis to help Thermon personnel and clients make educated decisions on projects. Provides accurate and detailed reports of FEA/CFD results. Key Characteristics, Competences and Skills Ability to interact successfully with internal and external clients Working knowledge of Heat transfer and Thermodynamics Fundamentals 1+ years experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD program Strong written & oral communication skills in English required. Skills in other languages are considered beneficiary Knowledge and Experience BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience 1+ years of FEA/CFD experience with focus on thermal analysis Experience with Autodesk CFD preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office
