The Director of Engineering will have responsibility to multiple sites. Plan, analyze and evaluate all phases of engineering programs, plans, procedures and personnel, including manufacturing engineering, process technicians and test engineering. Review recommendations for design and methods as well as equipment purchases. Coordinate the creation, development, design and improvement of products to conform to program objectives. Provide engineering consulting as requested. Work with top management to meet organizational objectives for engineering activities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Risk Management/FMEA. Process Validation. Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling. Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL). Analyze and implement all manufacturing engineering activities, develop manufacturing plans, provide technical support and direction. Perform design, development and analysis of varied manufacturing and engineering activities. Develop manufacturing engineering plans and/or strategies for specific products, processes and/or technologies. Review and establishment of Labor/NRE Quotes for new and existing products, as required. Investigate manufacturing process and business problems and provide short- and long-term solutions. Work with production to develop and direct opportunities that affect revenues and/or costs. Provide guidance to other engineers and shows alternate methods of solving or preventing process/business or technical problems. Determine production floor space and capital equipment needs, obtain vendor quotes, and develop capital proposals. Environmental health and safety - develop and implement policies and procedures in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, and/or hazardous material transportation. Develop and track measurements for reducing new product introduction time. Develop ECO and new product Introduction procedures and continuously review for improvement. Support facility maintenance, compliance, safety and reporting, as required. Support and follow all ISO standards related to OnCore's various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security. Support all corporate and site 6S objectives. Perform all other duties, as assigned.Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system (OCuity). Knowledge ofIPC-DVD-64C

Modules 1 & 2. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Labor quoting and process improvement. Understanding of all EMS processes for printed circuit board manufacturing. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar discipline. 10+ years of experience in the electronics industry. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications. Experience and ability to manage a large staff and multiple concurrent technical projects is required. The ability to interact in multi-functional teams and influence people to work together is essential. Balance of strategic thinking and strong analytical skills with ability to execute.Benefits Offered:
