Job Description
Help Build the Future of Our Controls Division Retrofit Service Company has been a trusted leader in commercial HVAC and Building Automation Systems throughout Southern California for over 33 years. We're looking for an experienced Controls Project Manager to join our growing Building Automation team. Our customers include commercial real estate, industrial, healthcare, education, municipal, retail, and aerospace facilities throughout Southern California. Much of our work comes from repeat customers and negotiated projects earned through decades of trust. Responsibilities
- Manage commercial BAS projects from the initial sale through project closeout.
- Coordinate engineering, programming, installation, commissioning, and startup.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and labor forecasts.
- Manage project financial performance, including purchasing, billing, change orders, and cost control.
- Review submittals, RFIs, equipment procurement, and project documentation.
- Coordinate field personnel, programmers, application engineers, subcontractors, and customers.
- Build strong relationships with owners, engineers, contractors, and end users.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Qualifications
- Five or more years of commercial Building Automation/Controls project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and Building Automation Systems.
- Experience with Niagara/Tridium, Distech Controls, BACnet, and similar BAS platforms is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
