Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering team and drive the development, optimization, and implementation of world-class manufacturing processes. As Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing efficient, capable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes while managing risk and supporting new product introduction from concept through production. What You'll Do Lead and develop a team of manufacturing engineers supporting precision machining, process development, and continuous improvement. Direct the design, development, validation, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems to optimize quality, cost, efficiency, and capacity. Plan and manage engineering projects, including resources, equipment, materials, timelines, priorities, and schedules. Lead PFMEA and process capability initiatives to identify and mitigate risk and ensure production readiness. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve productivity, quality, throughput, cost, and process capability. Partner with Operations, Quality, and Management to resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action. Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including process development, engineering changes, product upgrades, and transition to production. Collaborate with department managers, functional leaders, and Senior Leadership to align engineering priorities with business and operational goals. Participate in management reviews, audits, scorecard reviews, strategy meetings, and other key business initiatives. Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent while establishing clear performance goals, accountability, and career development opportunities. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within a precision machining environment. 3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience. Strong computer skills and proficiency with 3D modeling/design software. Experience with Mastercam and SolidWorks. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proven ability to lead engineering projects from concept and development through successful production implementation.
