About This Role RGP is seeking a highly experienced Greenfield Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale food manufacturing facility build and startup. This individual will oversee all aspects of a complex, multi-year capital investment program, ensuring successful facility construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness.
Pay Rate:
$80-$100/hr. W2 What You Will Work On Lead end-to-end program management for a greenfield food manufacturing facility from concept through operational handoff. Direct large-scale capital projects, including facility design, construction, installation of manufacturing equipment, commissioning, and startup activities. Develop and manage integrated program plans, budgets, schedules, governance frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder communications. Select, engage, and manage EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) firms, contractors, and key project vendors. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Food Safety, Procurement, and Finance. Oversee the procurement, installation, validation, and operational readiness of manufacturing equipment. Ensure compliance with food industry regulations, safety standards, quality requirements, and corporate policies. Drive program performance, issue resolution, and executive-level reporting throughout all project phases. What You Will Bring Senior-level program management experience leading high-value, complex, multi-year capital projects. Experience leading greenfield manufacturing expansions within the food and beverage industry. Deep expertise in food manufacturing environments, including facility construction, process engineering, and plant startup activities. Extensive experience in project engineering and management of large capital construction projects. Proven success selecting and managing EPCM firms, construction partners, and manufacturing equipment installation providers. Strong leadership experience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders across large-scale programs. Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with food safety and quality systems, including GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance requirements. PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
