Shamrock Engineering is recognized for its professional, detail-oriented design services and strong project delivery record as well as open and frequent communication with it's clients. The team works extensively in both Revit and AutoCAD, supporting complex commercial and residential developments. Role Description The Mechanical Engineer/MEP Project Manager will be responsible for leading mechanical team and acting as the point of contact for MEP design of our projects from concept through construction for a variety of building types. Day-to-day tasks include developing mechanical systems designs, reviewing drawings and specifications in Revit and AutoCAD, coordinating with internal disciplines and external architects, contractors, and clients, and managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. The role involves reviewing codes and standards, conducting engineering calculations, participating in design review meetings, and responding to RFIs and submittals during construction. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL, requiring regular collaboration with team members and project stakeholders. Qualifications Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in building systems and HVAC design. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including AutoCAD and Revit, for MEP design and documentation. Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; PE license or EIT certification preferred. Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and MEP/FP design practices. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality. Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL, and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
