Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in electrical engineering, construction management, and project coordination, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex electrical systems and collaborate with diverse teams on large-scale construction sites. Duties Lead and manage electrical construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution Develop detailed project scopes, budgets, and timelines using tools such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid Oversee system design, schematic development, and blueprint reading to ensure compliance with NEC standards and client specifications Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate project progress Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, tracking, and communication Conduct construction estimating and contract negotiations to ensure profitability and adherence to project requirements Monitor project progress through effective project scheduling and time management techniques Ensure safety compliance on construction sites by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment necessary for electrical systems installation Prepare reports on project status, risks, and issues for stakeholders Requirements Proven experience in Electrical Engineering , Construction Management , or related fields with a focus on electrical systems Strong knowledge of NEC standards, system design , blueprint reading , and schematics Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6 , HeavyBid , ProCore , and Bluebeam Experience in construction estimating , contract management , and project scheduling Demonstrated ability in construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety protocols Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Strong communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, and vendors Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical engineering or project management are preferred This position is ideal for a motivated professional eager to lead complex electrical projects while advancing their career in construction management.
