Bring your mechanical engineering leadership to a global amusement-ride supplier with worldwide clients and a hands-on, high-impact culture. In this Engineering Manager opportunity in St. Petersburg, FL, you'll help drive engineering output, manage deadlines, and lead a team delivering ride-ready solutions. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Engineering Manager position include: 5+ years of hands-on Mechanical Engineering experience and 5+ years in the amusement industry working specifically on roller coasters or similar rides; 3+ years managing an engineering team. Strong ability to read drawings and review design work. Knowledge of steel construction, welding, fasteners, machining, bearings, wheels, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and human factors. High proficiency (9/10) in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and
SOLIDWORKS
; MS Project is a plus. Strong personnel and project management skills with detail-oriented, organized execution. Experience coordinating with Project Administration and maintaining workflow continuity and task accountability. Supervise and manage engineering team time; conduct performance reviews. Ability to work onsite in St. Petersburg, FL, with willingness to work evenings/weekends as workload requires and to travel domestically/internationally.
Salary:
$125K-$175K per year, depending on experience.
