In 2020, our growing business started Cooperworks Industries, a plastic laminate cabinet company. Join our team and grow with us! Engineering Manager The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the engineering team to deliver high-quality products, systems, and solutions. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to oversee project execution, support team development, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Plan, prioritize, and oversee engineering projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, production, quality, and leadership Establish and maintain engineering standards, processes, and best practices Review and approve designs, specifications, and technical documentation Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution Participate in strategic planning and long-term engineering initiatives

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field required; Master's preferred) 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and project management Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred

Starting Salary:
$90,000-$120,000 annually depending on experience. Equal Opportunity Employer
