Our client is currently seeking a Furnace Manager - Heavy Industrial Bachelor's degree in Engineering Progressively responsible experience in manufacturing operations, Demonstrated technical/mechanical knowledge, you will need to learn how to operate our furnace (EAF). Experience in process engineering and continuous improvement programs, such as lean manufacturing and 6S is a plus Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes , safety regulations, and quality standards. Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop subordinates , fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; there will be one supervisor and 30 or so union employees Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving production targets, improving operational efficiency, and driving results.
