Manufacturing Engineer Manager $160 - $185K Direct Hire

Direct Hire/Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering personnel and oversee technical project management activities. This role is responsible for driving successful project execution—from initial concept through production—while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage engineering staff and project execution activities Assign and support project and process engineering work, including estimating Ensure development of tooling, process design, and manufacturing documentation Oversee and review project estimates for accuracy, manufacturability, and cost alignment Manage and optimize use of ERP systems for BOMs, routing, and configuration control Provide weekly project status updates to leadership and ensure team reporting compliance Oversee new product development (NPD) from concept through first article and production launch Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications Mentor and develop engineering team members, including training, performance reviews, and career planning Support customer and vendor interactions, including presentations and site visits Oversee engineering documentation, drawings, and data management Drive process improvements, time studies, and cost analysis initiatives Participate in PFMEA development and risk mitigation activities Evaluate and implement new technologies to maintain competitiveness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred) Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including project leadership Proven ability to manage projects from concept through production Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, welding, machining, assembly, heat treating) Proficiency with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Working knowledge of GD&T Experience with ERP systems for costing and production planning Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30

PM Salary:
