Only US Citizens/Green Card Holders Job Overview This is a full-time, in-office position for a Civil Engineer Project Manager responsible for civil engineering design, site planning, stormwater management, project coordination, and permitting for land development projects. Key Responsibilities Design and manage civil engineering projects from planning through completion. Prepare detailed civil engineering and site development designs. Develop site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utilities, and stormwater management designs . Manage project schedules, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate projects with clients and other professionals, including: Engineers Architects Land surveyors Other project disciplines Support and manage the permitting process . Ensure projects comply with applicable regulations, codes, and permitting requirements. Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders. Maintain organized project documentation and manage project activities effectively. Apply strong attention to detail when preparing and reviewing engineering designs and project information. Work collaboratively while also being able to work independently and take initiative. Support additional project-related responsibilities as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 3+ years of relevant civil engineering experience. Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification. Experience with civil engineering design and site planning . Experience designing stormwater management systems .
Experience with:
Site layout Grading Drainage Utilities Experience with permitting procedures and regulatory compliance . Proficiency with AutoCAD . Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with engineers, architects, land surveyors, clients, and other project stakeholders. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills. Valid driver's license and safe driving record/habits. Ability to work full-time in the office in Stoneham, MA . Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license. Soil Evaluator Certification. Additional experience with land development, permitting, stormwater management, and related civil engineering projects. Strong familiarity with local permitting and regulatory requirements.
