Job Description
Engineering Program Manager
Job DescriptionThis position serves as the engineering lead responsible for overseeing the execution, cost, schedule, and staffing of engineering efforts across a complex defense program. Working closely with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, the Engineering Program Manager ensures technical work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer and contractual requirements. Responsibilities include driving execution of engineering plans, managing resource allocation, supporting program financials and forecasting, overseeing engineering budgets and control accounts, developing proposal estimates and Basis of Estimates (BOEs), coordinating staffing and workload planning, and tracking technical risks and opportunities across the program. The ideal candidate will have experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, balancing technical and business objectives, and supporting the successful delivery of large-scale development programs within a defense or aerospace environment.
We can offer $60/hr-90/hr depending on experience.

Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering and technical teams within complex development environments.
Strong background supporting systems engineering activities throughout the full lifecycle, including development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, program status, and strategic recommendations to both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
Experience coordinating engineering efforts across multiple teams while balancing technical, cost, schedule, and program objectives. Active Secret clearance.
