Senior Program Manager - Location, NETFORM Shelby, Shelby, Mi NETFORM Shelby - 3.0 Shelby Charter Township, MI Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Managing projects Stakeholder management Full Job Description Summary The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives, ensure project milestones and budgets are met, and maintain alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a strong technical background in engineering. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Project Planning and Execution:
Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project management processes, increase efficiency, and enhance team performance.
Engineering Change Management:
Manage the design process, manufacturing process and documentation throughout a project lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate project risks by proactively identifying potential issues, developing contingency plans, and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Communication and Reporting:
Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders by providing regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics. Present project status and key insights to senior management as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that engineering deliverables meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. All other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Ability to Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable members of Project Teams Qualifications / Experience / Education Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams Experience in Cold Forging, Flowforming and Machining preferred Bachelor's or degree in Engineering or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in program or project management preferably in an engineering-focused environment to include deep understanding of engineering principles and methodologies Solid understanding of project management tools and methodologies PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus Previous high-volume manufacturing / automotive experience preferred Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (plus evenings and weekends as required according to Program or Project)
