3005093083-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Elevance Health seeks a Principal Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of scalable, secure healthcare technology solutions. You will define technical strategy, design cloud-native and API-driven platforms, and guide teams in building resilient, performant systems that support whole-health experiences for millions of members. Partner with product, data, and security leaders to deliver compliant, interoperable solutions, mentor engineers, champion best practices in DevOps and quality, and drive innovation aligned with our mission to simplify healthcare and improve community health at scale. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end architecture and design for large-scale healthcare technology platforms. Define technical roadmap and standards for cloud-native, API-first solutions. Collaborate with product, data, and security teams to deliver compliant, interoperable systems. Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Drive adoption of Dev Ops, CI/CD, and automated testing best practices. Ensure system performance, reliability, observability, and scalability for mission-critical services. Support security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA-related controls. Evaluate and introduce new technologies that advance whole-health and digital care experiences.
