Cross Country Land Services, LLC - Jay, Maine (Regional travel/TDY across
ME, NH, VT, MA
) Full-Time | $90,000-$120,000 (Based on Experience) + Benefits Cross Country Land Services is expanding. We're looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager / Estimator to help lead that transition. This role bridges pre-construction bidding and on-site execution — from takeoff and competitive proposals through subcontractor coordination, field oversight, and project closeout. Prepare estimates and competitive bid proposals for federal, state, municipal, and private civil work Manage awarded projects from contract execution through final closeout Develop budgets, schedules, subcontractor scopes, and procurement strategies Track project financial performance, manage change orders, and control job costs Coordinate directly with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental (Maine DEP), and applicable labor standards 5+ years of heavy civil estimating and/or project management experience (earthwork, utilities, environmental infrastructure, site prep, or roadway construction) Experience with prevailing wage / Davis-Bacon and certified payroll requirements strongly preferred — this is a priority for our municipal and federal work Strong command of civil construction means, methods, plan reading, and spec review Ability to travel regionally (ME, NH, VT, MA) as project locations require Excellent communication, organizational, and subcontractor management skills
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
