Essential Functions:
Project Leadership & Execution Lead engineering projects through all phases of execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client objectives. Develop project strategies, execution plans, and resource forecasts to support successful project delivery. Facilitate project kick-offs, planning sessions, and ongoing coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project success. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide leadership, direction, and support throughout project execution. Ensure project deliverables meet BSI quality standards, operating procedures, and client requirements. Manage project closeout activities, including final documentation, deliverable turnover, and lessons learned. Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain strong client relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and technical excellence. Lead discovery discussions to understand client requirements and develop project approaches that support business objectives. Manage project communications, providing timely updates on scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables. Balance client expectations with project requirements while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach. Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), change requests, and project modifications to ensure timely resolution and clear communication. Identify project changes that impact scope and facilitate change order development and client approval. Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand relationships and deliver additional value to clients. Business Development & Financial Management Lead the development of project scopes, proposals, estimates, and fee structures. Present proposals, project plans, and technical solutions to prospective and existing clients. Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, labor utilization, budgets, and profitability. Identify project changes that impact scope and facilitate change order development and client approval. Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand relationships and deliver additional value to clients. Team Development & Collaboration Foster a collaborative, accountable, and client-focused project environment. Mentor engineers and project team members, helping develop technical, project management, and client-facing skills. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 10+ years of engineering, project management, or consulting experience. Demonstrated success managing engineering projects from initiation through completion. Previous experience in an engineering consulting environment preferred. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and confidently present to diverse audiences. Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resource planning, and project risk. FDA cGMP, EU Annex 1, or experience with ICH guidelines is required. Pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing industry experience preferred. Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
