You will be the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager for our team. Our team is responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures for manufactured and procured products to ensure high-quality deliveries to customers. What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of supplier quality engineers and driving process improvements to prevent issues and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to analyze and resolve process issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing documentation to ensure quality products are delivered to customers Analyzing quality data to identify root causes and corrective actions Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards Performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures Leading a team of supplier quality engineers and interfacing with customers and program personnel Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement Why Join Us As a collaborative and results-driven leader, you will thrive in this role. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at Bachelor's level or above and/or equivalent experience/combined education Engineering or Quality experience developing methods / processes, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related performance metrics Experience leading a team or project Experience working with suppliers Ability to travel (typically around 25%)Desired Skills:
STEM/Engineering Degree at Bachelors level or higher preferred Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification Process Engineering experience ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) Advanced AS9100 Interpretation and application experience. Experience working with Government customers -Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening and technical writing Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration. Experience with process capability analysis and interpretation, gage R&R, measurement system analysis Advanced experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.Security Clearance Statement:
