Seattle, WA Salary:
$180,000 - $200,000 Mostly remote position. Onsite client/job site visits required. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow our regional engineering and design team based in Seattle, WA . This role is responsible for all technical aspects of project capture, launch, design, field investigation, and start-up for stations, pipeline replacement, gas distribution, and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects . The Engineering Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring technical excellence, high-quality deliverables, and successful project execution, while also building strong client relationships and developing engineering talent. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the regional engineering and design team, ensuring technical excellence and successful project delivery Oversee all technical project responsibilities and quality of deliverables for stations, pipeline replacement, gas distribution, and RNG projects Drive project capture activities including proposal development, project setup, and successful launches Coordinate with process and development teams to implement standardized proposal and project execution processes Serve as the primary client interface, including initial meetings, onsite visits, business development efforts, and ongoing project support Develop new client relationships while maintaining and expanding existing accounts Maintain strong working relationships with internal leaders, project managers, vendors, contractors, and clients Act as Design Lead and/or Project Manager, leading kickoff meetings and developing project layout plans Lead major equipment specification and procurement efforts, including: Equipment specifications and bid package development Technical and commercial bid evaluations Equipment recommendations and vendor selection Review of vendor and equipment drawings Develop and implement training programs for engineering and project teams Coach, mentor, and develop engineers while fostering a strong team culture and positive morale Lead multidisciplinary teams across Civil, Process, and Mechanical Engineering disciplines Provide oversight and guidance on project objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters Maintain regular communication and alignment with leadership Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent) 10+ years of progressive engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license required , or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Skills & Attributes Proven leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset Collaborative team player with strong communication skills Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
