We're partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Oak Creek, WI seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a small multi-disciplinary engineering team and drive innovation across a specialized industrial product portfolio. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape engineering strategy, improve execution, and make a lasting impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of mechanical and electrical engineering professionals Own and drive new product development initiatives from concept through launch Establish project management discipline, milestones, and accountability measures Accelerate product development timelines and improve engineering execution Partner closely with sales, operations, and executive leadership to align business and engineering objectives Provide both strategic leadership and hands-on technical guidance as needed Evaluate and leverage external engineering resources to support growth initiatives Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong track record of successful new product development and commercialization Ability to bring structure and process to organizations undergoing transformation or growth Confident communicator who can drive accountability and navigate difficult conversations Player-coach leadership style with a willingness to remain technically engaged Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
