Job Description
This full time opportunity is for a Project Engineer at a custom machine manufacturer. Individuals applying for this position will provide overall project engineering leadership on specific projects and is responsible for developing and presenting engineering solutions to meet the needs of clients in the industrial manufacturing, energy, food, chemical, and process industries. The ideal candidate will also have proven interpersonal skills through experience communicating with clients, engineers, manufacturing personnel, management and others of varying technical abilities, and must be able to work effectively within a team environment. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following: Managing multiple projects at one time Planning and overseeing projects to ensure technical and budgetary success are achieved Creating and overseeing project strategy, planning and goal attainment Creating proposals, product flow diagrams, and piping and instrument diagrams Participating in project design, pricing, negotiations and scheduling Ensuring project timeline requirements are met Periodic domestic and international travel for system startups The background of the successful candidate must include the following: Engineering degree Five or more years of managing industrial and/or process projects Structural analysis experience Two or more years of ERP experience Two or more years of Microsoft Excel experience Possess the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed Possess a solid work history Being a US citizen or green card holder
