Your expertise will drive efficient mitigation processes, coordinate restoration efforts, and uphold industry standards. Responsibilities Lead mitigation projects involving water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement with precision and professionalism. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform cleaning, demolition, and restoration tasks efficiently. Conduct thorough assessments of affected areas to determine scope of work and develop effective mitigation strategies. Perform cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to prepare properties for restoration. Assist in the use of construction skills for minor repairs or building components during the mitigation process. Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress clearly with team members and clients. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines throughout every project. Qualifications Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on mitigation services such as water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, hand tools, power tools, and construction fundamentals relevant to mitigation work. Ability to operate specialized equipment for carpet cleaning and other restoration tasks effectively. Hands-on experience with mold remediation procedures and asbestos abatement protocols preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tackling complex mitigation challenges. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel between job sites as needed. Certifications in water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup or related fields are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
