MITIGATION TECHNICIAN

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Technician for our NOVA Division to help spearhead restoration projects involving fire damage, water intrusion, mold, and other mitigation services. In this vital role, you will work with other technicians, coordinate project timelines, ensure quality standards are met, and deliver exceptional service to clients. Your expertise in restoration industry practices and hands-on skills will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining safety and efficiency throughout every phase of mitigation work. Perform at mitigation projects including fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and cleaning services. Perform hands-on work using hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, or construction-related tasks as needed. Conduct thorough assessments of properties to determine scope of work and develop detailed project plans. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors to keep projects on track and address any issues promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety compliance, and work performed for each mitigation site. Qualifications Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on mitigation services such as fire damage repair, water damage restoration or mold remediation. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in restoration projects. Hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and construction materials. Familiarity with safety protocols related to mold abatement and other hazardous materials. Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
