Must be available for early morning shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Kitchen Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in a fast-paced food production environment. This position will supervise production activities, ensure products are manufactured accurately and efficiently, maintain quality and safety standards, and help keep production lines running at an optimal pace. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations and ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. Set up production lines and conduct morning roll calls. Perform pre-operational inspections of the processing area, including ATP and allergen swabbing. Ensure ingredients are rotated and supplied to production lines in the proper order. Verify incoming raw materials and ensure Batch Control Records (BCRs) are completed accurately. Ensure production employees follow specified recipes and use the correct ingredients for each SKU. Monitor production flow and maintain an efficient pace throughout the shift. Ensure accurate production of finished goods. Report ingredient or production violations to Quality Assurance. Ensure production lines remain properly supplied with ingredients. Minimize work-in-process (WIP) remaining at the end of each production day. Conduct regular weight checks to verify finished product weights in coordination with Line QA. Confirm completion of QA line requirements, including check weights and metal detector verifications. Ensure finished products are stored according to required temperature standards. Supervise SKU changeovers, including cleaning and sanitizing between production runs. Conduct daily inspections to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of tables, scales, utensils, floors, trench drains, and employee workstations. Monitor employee PPE and personal hygiene standards, including proper handwashing, hairnet usage, and smock control. Work closely with production and QA teams to maintain quality, food safety, and operational standards. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Previous experience in food production, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or a similar supervisory/leadership environment . Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a refrigerated environment. Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from approximately 32-36°F . Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, evenings, and occasional overtime as needed. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle challenging assignments.
