Biohazard Technician Supervisor / Lead Technician We are seeking an experienced, dependable Biohazard Technician Supervisor / Lead Technician to oversee field crews and perform specialized biohazard remediation throughout Washington State. This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate is someone who can lead a crew, communicate professionally with customers and management, maintain accurate job documentation, and work alongside technicians in demanding environments. Our work may include trauma and crime scene cleanup, unattended death, blood and bodily fluid remediation, hoarding and gross-filth conditions, drug contamination, vehicle decontamination, and other specialized environmental cleanup projects. Primary Responsibilities Lead and supervise technicians on assigned jobsites Coordinate daily field activities and keep projects moving efficiently Perform hands-on biohazard remediation alongside the crew Ensure technicians follow company procedures, PPE requirements, and safety protocols Properly establish containment and controlled work areas when required Oversee removal, cleaning, disinfection, decontamination, and disposal activities Verify tools, equipment, PPE, chemicals, and supplies are available for each project Maintain organization and cleanliness of company vehicles and equipment Train and provide direction to technicians in the field Communicate job progress, problems, changes in conditions, and additional work requirements to management Maintain professional communication with property owners, property managers, insurance representatives, law enforcement, and other clients Complete jobsite photographs and documentation accurately Document materials removed, equipment used, waste generated, testing locations, and work completed Ensure employee timekeeping and job notes are accurate Assist with jobsite measurements, sketches, scope verification, and field documentation when required Follow all company safety, confidentiality, and customer-service standards Types of Work May Include Trauma and crime scene cleanup Unattended death and decomposition Suicide and homicide cleanup Blood and bodily fluid remediation Methamphetamine-contaminated properties Fentanyl and drug contamination cleanup Hoarding and gross-filth cleanup Homeless encampment cleanup Sewage and infectious-material cleanup Vehicle biohazard decontamination Jail cell and law-enforcement vehicle cleanup Odor remediation Specialty environmental remediation projects Qualifications Preferred candidates will have prior experience in one or more of the following: Biohazard remediation Restoration Environmental remediation Hazardous-material cleanup Crime scene or trauma cleanup Water/fire restoration Mold remediation Construction or demolition Crew leadership or field supervision Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to reliably report to assigned jobsites Ability to supervise employees while also performing physical field work Ability to wear respirators and required PPE Ability to lift and move equipment, materials, and debris associated with remediation work Comfortable working in physically demanding and potentially unpleasant environments Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Strong attention to detail and documentation Professional appearance and communication Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping, photographs, job documentation, email, and company applications Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout the company's service area Availability for occasional emergency, after-hours, weekend, or changing schedules based on project needs Certifications The following are preferred but not necessarily required for the right candidate: Washington State CDL certification related to clandestine drug lab/decontamination work

A successful Lead Technician/Supervisor should be able to: Give technicians clear instructions Recognize when something on a jobsite requires management attention Maintain accurate records without constant follow-up Treat customers and their property respectfully Maintain confidentiality when working on sensitive situations Keep crews productive while maintaining safety and quality Remain professional during stressful or emotionally difficult projects Take responsibility for completing the assigned scope correctly Schedule This is a field-based position. Hours may vary depending on project schedules, emergency-response needs, travel, and workload. Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, or extended workdays may occasionally be required. Compensation Pay is dependent upon experience, certifications, supervisory ability, and demonstrated technical knowledge.
