Job Description

TriCore Industrial Measurement Services (TriCore IMS), a joint venture of Mangan Inc. and QA Support, that delivers complete analyzer and emissions monitoring solutions for industries where performance and compliance are critical. Our mission is to deliver solutions and services that meet regulatory and process requirements, operate with efficiency, remain maintainable over time, and are built for long-term reliability. A Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) Technician installs, calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment used to measure industrial stack emissions to ensure compliance with EPA and environmental regulations. They collect and analyze data, manage DAHS systems, and perform daily, weekly, or quarterly inspections of sampling systems. (Nox, CO, CO2, SO2, O2) Familiarity with stack flow, particulate and opacity monitors is a plus.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Calibration:
Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly calibration checks using span gases to ensure accuracy.
Technical Support:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sampling probes, heated lines, sample systems, gas analyzers, and Data Acquisition and Handling Systems (DAHS).
Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure all equipment complies with EPA and local air quality regulations (e.g., 40 CFR 60).
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect emissions data, analyze results, and prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
Operational Optimization:
Identify leaks or inefficiencies to support continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise:
Experience with gas analyzers (NDIR, FTIR, UV, and other measurement techniques), calibration methods, and PLC controls.
Environmental Knowledge:
Understanding of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA certifications).
Field Experience:
Troubleshooting pneumatic and electronic systems.
Documentation:
Strong skills in tracking, recording, and reporting data for compliance audits. Candidates should be prepared to travel, work in industrial settings, and pass required screenings. The role may also involve leading and supervising stack testing teams and planning and managing field activities.
