Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Commercial Refrigeration Application Design Engineer will design and develop new products, relentlessly focus on cost reduction and product improvements, and position customers as best-in-class in our served markets.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
New product development and value enhancement of refrigerated merchandisers, including overall project management Refrigeration system design of self-contained and remote models for all existing and new refrigerated display case models. Ensure that all system designs pass the applicable agency standards. Assist in writing and maintaining file reports. Assist in production problems and performance issues that arise in manufacturing. Assist in resolving field service issues concerning refrigeration system design and installations. Assist with display case's mechanical design and the building of engineering prototypes for testing.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong understanding of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings Mechanical aptitude with experience in installing and repairing complex systems Knowledge of electrical system wiring and control circuits Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot malfunctions Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and technicians
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work/education experience in Design Engineering or related discipline. Progressive refrigeration or air conditioning, HVAC/R design experience. Experience utilizing regulatory standards such as UL, CSA, and NSF Standards Strong Customer Service Skills. Strong Communication skills (both verbal and written).
