Engineering Clearance:
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required Responsibilities Collaborates with program management, engineering, subcontracts/procurement functional management, and supplier management teams to ensure that all procurements meet or exceed the requirements of external and internal customers. Defines the Supplier Statement of Work (SOW) with the scope of contract requirements and NGAS policies and processes and supplier quality requirements. Supports the maintenance of the approved supplier list within the Tooling Suppliers and periodically reviews supplier performance to determine whether suppliers should remain on the approved list. Manages supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and discrepancy reporting processes through tool deviation requests and QA processes. Evaluates supplier non-conformances, negative performance trends, and failures; determines root cause and implements corrective and preventive actions. Manages source inspection processes and coordinates with customers as required. Verifies that End Item Data Packages within QTIS are complete and manufacturing CoCs are reviewed prior to shipment. Utilizes supplier performance databases and supplier quality management system assessment tools to provide objective evidence of supplier capability to perform. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related field). Experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with technical documentation and technical writing. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. 3D CAD experience. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in an Engineering field. Composites experience. Supplier audit assessment experience. Root Cause and Analysis training. Lean Manufacturing experience or certification.
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience within production, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
