We are seeking someone with strong experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and coordination who can work closely with our architectural, structural, design, and construction teams. Responsibilities Develop and review MEP plans for high-end residential construction and remodeling projects Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with architectural and structural plans Review drawings and identify potential conflicts or design issues Prepare or revise MEP layouts, schedules, and details Assist with load calculations and system sizing as needed Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other consultants Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and constructability Provide technical recommendations during preconstruction and construction Assist with permit and plan-check comments when needed Participate in project meetings and provide MEP updates Ensure designs comply with applicable California codes and project requirements Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field Professional experience in MEP design and coordination Experience with residential construction, preferably luxury custom homes Strong understanding of California building codes and MEP requirements Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate clearly with project teams and consultants Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred California project experience Experience with high-end custom residential projects PE license or ability to coordinate with a California-licensed engineer Experience working with design-build companies Familiarity with construction documents, permitting, and plan-check processes To apply, please submit your resume, portfolio or examples of MEP work, hourly rate, availability, and relevant project experience .
