Situated on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaire's Row, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the most historically and architecturally significant hotels on Miami Beach. Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing operations. Examples of Duties , includes but is not limited to the following : Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water, and drainage systems. Identify plumbing and safety problems and take necessary corrective action. Maintain grease traps and sewage ejector pits to prevent waste line blockages. Maintain standpipe and sprinkler systems. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and use of all techniques for the trade. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Knowledge of sanitary codes. Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff. From entry-level to two years relevant experience preferred. High school education or equivalent. Trade apprenticeship preferred.
