This pivotal role combines technical expertise with leadership acumen to manage complex maintenance projects, uphold safety standards, and maintain the highest quality of facilities management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-end setting, demonstrating a proactive approach to troubleshooting and a passion for maintaining excellence in every detail. Duties Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, managing daily operations to ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems function seamlessly. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures aligned with industry standards and safety regulations such as OSHA. Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment longevity and performance. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical system issues—including high voltage and low voltage circuits—and plumbing system maintenance. Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while adhering to safety regulations. Utilize schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately; employ tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices for precise troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training staff on OSHA standards, and maintaining a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with management to develop budgets, oversee procurement of parts and equipment, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams within luxury or high-end environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance procedures. Demonstrated expertise in managing facilities maintenance management programs and project management skills from initiation to completion. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards; experience conducting safety audits and training sessions. Skilled in using diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices for troubleshooting electrical issues. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes; experience with CMMS software is highly desirable.
