Maintenance Engineer- Plant Maintenance Northbrook, IL We are currently searching for a full-time Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily production operations focusing on maintenance and safety. Schedule:

The plant is a 24 hour/day operation x 6 days/week 8-hour shift 12pm-8pm; exact schedule can be negotiated Weekends as needed

Qualifications:

Associates degree from college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum five (5) years of related experience in manufacturing Maintenance experience and mechanical knowledge is required Experience with furnace controls is preferred Intermediate computer skills (MS Office) Experienced Military candidates are encouraged to apply Experience with PLC's and electrical systems is a plus!

Responsibilities:

Supports all aspects of maintaining operations for the plant to produce cost-effective, timely and high-quality products Manage and perform plant maintenance and safety programs. Primary responsibility is to maintain industrial electric furnaces and supporting machines Design and help install new equipment as needed Monitor operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followed Plant utilizes equipment designed in-house.
