Recognized throughout the chemical industry for safe, efficient, and innovative strategies to extract significant residual value from a broad range of materials, CHEM Group, a privately held entity located in Evansville, Indiana, is looking to add a like-minded individual to our most profitable, high-growth business unit within our organization. We are currently looking for a Shift Engineer for our Evansville Plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate plant systems in a safe and efficient manner. Loading and unloading of drums, totes, trailers and railcars. Product packaging and labeling Collecting and analyzing of feed, in-process and finished product samples Ensuring plant production is optimal and goals are met or exceeded with respect to productivity, throughput, cycle times, yields, and finished product quality. Creating a work environment that drives incident-free operations. Ensuring optimal performance in environmental compliance, health, and safety. Coordinating with Transportation Manager to manage material transfer in and out of the Plant. Routine and preventative maintenance of all critical equipment. Maintain reliability standards. Maintaining excellent housekeeping practices in the Plant Assist leadership in critical plant functions. Abide by the principles in the EHS&S mission statement. Abide by Chem Group's quality policy

Requirements:
Skills and Education Requirements:
Engineering Degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum (entry level) Understanding of material flows and production planning Excellent written and verbal communication Computer literate (i.e. MS Office, Excel, Outlook) Ability to capture, organize and present relevant data to plant leadership Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb stairs, and use a ladder Ability to work a 12 hour dupont schedule EOE
