The Chief will also be responsible for overseeing and/or managing various construction/renovation projects necessary within the daily operation. The Chief will report to the Director of Campus Facilities and will assist with various administrative and management functions. This employee is expected to work in a multicultural diverse working environment. Typical Duties This description is intended to indicate the types of duties and responsibilities requested of the employee assigned this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that may be required. 1. Responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all daily activities related to maintenance and operation of campus facilities, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural systems, plant operations, general and preventative maintenance, custodial and grounds. 2. Establishes, monitors and maintains high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, appearance, and function of campus buildings and grounds. 3. Responsible for effective maintenance and inspection programs which protect and/or enhance the assets of the College.
