Summary As a Server and Bartender, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer experiences in our establishment. Reporting to the Floor Manager, your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Your expertise in POS systems, particularly Toast, along with your bartending skills, will enhance our guests' dining experience. With a focus on time management and sales, you will also engage in upselling menu items, contributing to our restaurant's success in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. Responsible for providing excellent service to ensure satisfaction, taking guest orders and delivering food and beverages and making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests Present menu and provide detailed information when asked Prepare tables by setting up silverware and glasses Inform customers about the specials Offer menu recommendations upon request Up-sell additional products when appropriate Take accurate food and drinks orders Check customers' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff Serve food and drink orders Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area Deliver checks and collect bill payments Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning Follow all health department regulations Provide excellent customer service to guests
