Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications:
One year of hospital experience preferred
Completion of two-year Building Utilities Maintenance or Facility and Service Technology program or equivalent experience required
Second Class B or higher Boiler's license required
Maintenance Electrician's license preferred
Valid driver's license required; current DMV report required by OMC's vehicle insurance carrier upon hire with periodic reports after hire
Certificate in refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Repairs and performs preventive maintenance tasks for the hospital-related entities, e.g., buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Ensures the operation of heating/cooling, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
Responds to Work Order Requests for medical equipment.
Verifies appropriate operation of heating/cooling equipment via computer monitoring.
Responsible for the operation, repairs, and preventative maintenance for the facilities including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
Performs corrective maintenance on general and medical equipment to ensure proper operation.
Hours include rotating weekends and call shifts.
