Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer will support all phases of a project from inception to completion of construction. This role is designed to foster growth and nurture design talents, providing a solid foundation for a successful career in engineering. Reporting to a Team Lead and Project Manager, you will collaborate with senior designers and engineers to perform design tasks at all stages of design and construction. In this role, you will: Implement designs as directed by senior designers and engineers. Collaborate with technical staff to design and detail new systems, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and adherence to quality assurance measures. Participate in on-site observations, information gathering, and interactions with clients and contractors during both the design and construction phases. Design plumbing, fire protection, medical, and laboratory gas systems following written and verbal directions from senior designers or engineers. Coordinate designs with other disciplines to ensure constructability and maintainability of engineered systems. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to help you grow your skills and advance your career. Qualifications:
BS Mechanical Engineering or related Science/Engineering Degree, preferred. 0 to 3 years of experience. Experience with CAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu software is highly preferred.

Demonstrates a high standard of professionalism and client focus/customer service. Strong organization and time management skills. Resourceful and flexible. Effective at handling multiple tasks. Strong computer skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to work collaboratively with multiple team members. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Valid/Unrestricted driver license in your state of residency. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be a US Citizen. Active/Interim or ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000-$85,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
