QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Full-Time, with availability for day and evening shifts. Must be available weekends. Three or more years of experience in building maintenance or related experience. Experience in the hospitality industry preferred. Basic knowledge and skills in carpentry, painting, wallpaper, plumbing, electrical and air conditioning. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbal communication skills. Friendly, outgoing personality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Troubleshoot issues and/or perform interior and exterior maintenance and repairs on building or equipment including, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, wallpapering, drywall repair, tile work, pool maintenance, etc. Maintain equipment reading logs as required. Respond to guest service requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner. Perform special projects as assigned including outdoor seasonal work. Properly use and maintain tools and equipment and assist with inventories. Respond to fire alarms or mechanical emergencies. Report to work when scheduled and in proper uniform. Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates.
