Job Description
Selmet, a PCC Structurals company, is seeking a Plant Facilities Engineer to support our advanced titanium casting operations for aerospace and defense. In this role, you will own the reliability, safety, and performance of plant utilities, building systems, and critical support equipment. You will lead preventive and predictive maintenance, drive facilities projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure regulatory compliance. Working closely with production, engineering, and EHS, you'll apply lean and continuous-improvement principles in a high-precision manufacturing environment with strong career-growth potential. Responsibilities Oversee operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant facilities, utilities, and building systems supporting titanium casting operations Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and process-support equipment Lead and manage facilities projects, including equipment upgrades, layout changes, and infrastructure improvements Troubleshoot complex facilities and utility issues to minimize downtime and support production goals Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards for plant facilities and systems Collaborate with production, engineering, and EHS teams to support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Manage contractors and vendors for facilities services, repairs, and capital projects Develop and maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, and asset management systems Support budgeting, cost control, and capital planning for facilities and utilities Identify and implement energy-efficiency and reliability improvements across the site Required Skills Facilities engineering Industrial utilities (compressed air, vacuum, process gases) Mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting Preventive and predictive maintenance HVAC and building systems Project management Auto CAD or similar CAD tools
