This program-based assignment will be located at our client's facility near Nashville, Tennessee and will work directly with our client's Facility Engineering and Project Management team and vendors to provide leadership and administration for various projects. The individual we seek will ideally have a degree in Mechanical Design or Engineering or equivalent with experience in the design and construction of industrial facilities. Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects from design through installation is essential. Candidates without a degree but with equivalent experience will also be considered. This is a multi year contract position, JOB DETAILS Prepares drawings in accordance with standard technical specifications and assists in design development of mechanical and electrical industrial facilities systems, that range from moderate to complex in nature. Must have thorough knowledge AutoCAD and file storage systems, as well as ability to edit manual drawings. Working effectively in the manufacturing environment collecting data, developing, and implementing design solutions, creating specification, and requisitions for contracted services. Coordinating outside contracted support services and maintaining effective working relationships with Operations, Maintenance, and Safety personnel. Applies basic engineering principles in the area of discipline during the development of design solutions. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
