About the role MIINC Mechanical is seeking a Mechanical/Plumbing Detailer to support the detailing, modeling, and coordination of project work. This role is responsible for completing annotations on coordinated drawings, preparing shop drawings and spool sheets, and developing overlays to reflect project changes. The Detailer will also create supporting documentation to assist field teams and ensure efficient installation. If you're a meticulous professional with a passion for mechanical design and coordination, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Generate comprehensive installation and project documentation, including shop and detail drawings, equipment/material schedules, spool sheets, bills of materials, as-built drawings, quantity/description listings etc. Monitor industry trends, codes, and technologies related to mechanical & plumbing systems. Create coordinated 3D models and drawings for plumbing and mechanical systems. Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and field personnel for effective system integration. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess existing conditions. Participate in project meetings to communicate design intent and ensure stakeholder alignment. Revise drawings and documentation based on project feedback. Maintain organized records of design changes and correspondence. Qualifications & Skills Experience as a Detailer, Draftsperson, Annotator or related role in mechanical or plumbing design. Field experience in mechanical & plumbing systems. (Preferred). Proficiency in AutoDesk software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navis Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Strong understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems, applicable codes, and construction best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
