Type:

full-time Ozer Engineering is looking for a motivated Site Assessment Technician to support our residential and small commercial field assessments. You'll work closely with a licensed Structural Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in real-world conditions and building a strong technical foundation with room to grow into more advanced assessment and reporting work as you gain experience.



ResponsibilitiesPerform site visits, including crawlspaces and attics, in dirty or confined environments (PPE required)Work outdoors in extreme temperatures when necessaryDrive your own reliable vehicle to and between job sites (mileage reimbursed)Read and interpret 2D drawings on-site to understand how they relate to the physical structureCollect accurate field notes, measurements, and photos using a phone, drone and/or robot. (Training provided)Document findings in CompanyCam tagging photos and adding notes on-siteTrack and organize project data in AirtableAssist with technical reports and documentationCommunicate findings clearly with team members and clientsEssential SkillsReading technical/construction drawingsAutoCAD or CAD softwareField data collection & documentationSite inspection / assessment (we provide training)Concrete and steel construction methodsAttention to detailWritten and verbal communicationMicrosoft Office / Excel/ CAD /QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's in Construction Technology, Drafting, CAD, or related field, or equivalent experienceAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsFamiliarity with concrete and steel construction methods preferredComfortable using field apps and software for documentation (or willing to learn)Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license requiredCustomer-focused with strong communication skillsWillingness to follow safety protocols and use protective equipmentDon't meet every qualification?
