IDR is seeking a Project Engineer - Hardware Delivery to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Louisville, Colorado. This role involves managing complex hardware projects within the aerospace industry, ensuring schedule recovery, and collaborating across multiple engineering and procurement teams. The position offers an exciting chance to work on high-level hardware programs in a fast-paced environment without naming the specific company. Position Overview for the Project Engineer -
Hardware Delivery:
Oversee hardware program execution, including managing BOMs, drawing packages, and procurement readiness. Work closely with engineering, quality, procurement, suppliers, and program management to resolve schedule blockers. Support hardware readiness reviews, EVM, CAM reviews, IMS status, and forecasting. Communicate project risks, schedules, and supplier status clearly through strong written and verbal skills. Adapt to an environment where designs, schedules, and constraints evolve rapidly. Requirements for the Project Engineer -
Hardware Delivery:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in project engineering, hardware program execution, supply chain engineering, or aerospace hardware delivery. Experience managing complex BOMs, released part data, drawing packages, and configuration-sensitive hardware. Demonstrated ability to work across engineering, quality, procurement, suppliers, and program management to recover schedule and resolve blockers. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief risk, schedule, and supplier status clearly. $140,000-$180,000 #
