The Opportunity:
Key activities you will accomplish in this role: In this dynamic role you will:
  • Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the Program.
  • Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively without customers, as well as senior leadership.
  • Create/update project/process documentation that aligns to project requirements. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
  • Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
  • Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
  • Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
  • Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure. To be effective in this role, you will need:
  • Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware
  • 3+ years of professional experience for this role. Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Hardware development experience
  • Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
  • Experience with interconnect design
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, Pspice (PLM Systems)
  • Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)
  • Issue Tracking experience Desired Skills
  • Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrate test systems, and experience as a Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent.
  • Experience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP)
  • Experience working with RF
  • Demonstrated an ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in the development of tech products.
  • Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations
  • Experience troubleshooting System level issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
