Job Description
PCB Design Engineer responsible for complex multilayer board layout, high-speed routing, fabrication documentation, and PCB release activities using Cadence Allegro. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 7+ years of hands-on PCB layout and design experience as a primary job function. Advanced proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer/Editor. Experience independently completing complex PCB layouts. Knowledge of IPC standards. Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes. Experience with multilayer PCB stackups. Experience with controlled impedance routing. Experience with high-density PCB layouts. Experience working within structured release and configuration management systems. Experience applying signal integrity, power integrity, EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal design techniques. Preferred Skills IPC CID or CID+ certification. Experience with high-speed digital interfaces, including DDR, PCIe, and
SERDES. RF
layout and transmission line design experience. Experience with BGA fan-out and fine-pitch components. Experience with power distribution networks and decoupling optimization. Mixed-signal PCB layout experience. DFM and DFT experience. Job Responsibilities Develop PCB layouts from released schematics, netlists, and engineering requirements. Perform component placement and routing for complex multilayer boards. Develop high-density and controlled impedance PCB layouts. Execute high-speed digital, power, RF, and mixed-signal layouts. Apply signal integrity and power integrity design techniques. Implement EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal design requirements. Generate complete PCB fabrication and assembly documentation packages. Support PCB fabrication and assembly vendor technical questions. Participate in DFM and DFT reviews. Incorporate fabrication, assembly, and test feedback into PCB designs. Support PCB design release and configuration management activities.Pay:
