This role will help create and improve dependable power and monitoring solutions used in demanding network environments, with direct influence on product performance, manufacturability, and regulatory readiness. The ideal candidate is an electrical engineer with hands-on experience taking analog, digital, and power-electronics designs from schematic through PCB layout, simulation, bench testing, troubleshooting, and controlled release. Success will require practical knowledge of converter topologies, ECAD and circuit-modeling tools, laboratory instrumentation, and clear engineering documentation.
Responsibilities:
Develop new DC power-distribution, protection, alarm, remote-monitoring, and modular interconnect designs for commercial electronic products. Create and peer-review analog, digital, and power-circuit schematics and PCB layouts against product requirements and sound design practices. Model circuits, build and test prototypes, diagnose failures, and resolve design issues across new and existing product families. Evaluate engineering changes for cost, component availability, manufacturability, performance, and compliance impact. Maintain controlled drawings, bills of material, part records, and design-change documentation within the company ERP and engineering file structure. Contribute to engineering-change, continuous-improvement, technical-training, and cross-functional product-support activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least four years of professional hardware-design experience. Strong understanding of analog circuits and schematics, including regulators, rectifiers, amplifiers, filters, oscillators, inductors, and related components. Working knowledge of common isolated and non-isolated power-conversion topologies, including buck, boost, buck-boost, flyback, forward, half-bridge, and full-bridge designs. Hands-on ability with oscilloscopes, electronic loads, AC/DC sources, spectrum and power analyzers, LCR meters, and systematic circuit troubleshooting. Experience with circuit simulation and modeling tools such as PSPICE, LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, or comparable platforms, plus ECAD software such as Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or Mentor Graphics. Clear technical communication and documentation skills; EMC troubleshooting, wide-bandgap technology, graduate education, or engineering-focused AI-tool experience is advantageous. #accentuate2
