Job Description

Position:
Lead, Electrical Engineering -
Hardware Design Location:
3975 McMann Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45245
Schedule:
4/10 — 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Relocation Assistance:
Available for an ideal candidate Job Responsibilities Lead analog and digital hardware design of ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications. Perform circuit tolerance analysis using hand calculations and SPICE tools. Develop, refine, and ensure compliance with product requirements. Generate test plans and reports for brassboard, design verification, qualification, and firing-property testing. Lead testing throughout the product development lifecycle. Lead structured failure investigations using 8D, Fishbone, Cause & Effect , and similar tools. Prepare and lead design reviews. Serve as the primary technical interface with internal and external customers. Provide material and labor estimates for RFPs . Generate Engineering Orders (EOs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) . Mentor electrical engineering staff and lead multiple projects simultaneously. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 9+ years of relevant experience; or graduate degree with 7+ years; or 13+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of analog circuit design experience. 5+ years of digital circuit design experience. 4+ years of power conversion experience. 5+ years troubleshooting using standard electrical laboratory equipment. 4+ years of schematic capture and/or board-layout experience using Altium, PADS, or similar tools . 4+ years leading large-scale technical projects. 4+ years participating in and preparing for design reviews. 4+ years creating technical documentation, including test plans, reports, and drawings. Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience Temperature sensors, MEMS accelerometers, differential pressure sensors, and gyros. UART, SPI, and I²C communication buses. Root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving. EMI suppression, ESD protection, and short-circuit protection. Power supply and power conditioning design.

. Presenting designs to safety review boards. Energetic materials interfacing/testing. Electronics design for vibration, shock, temperature, and humidity environments. Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
